New GM's for two key Dubai Hotels - Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel
 
06 Nov. 2008 Dubai-based luxury Hotel Company and member of Dubai Holding, Jumeirah announced the appointment of Heinrich Morio as General Manager of the Group's flagship property, Burj Al Arab and Margaret Paul as General Manager for the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Both these hotels have won several awards for a variety of categories in hospitality industry and has brought many more laurels for Dubai Hotels. Heinrich joins the team at Burj Al Arab from Jumeirah Beach Hotel, where he has held the same position since 2006. Heinrich, who been part of the Jumeirah group for the last four years, has managed some of the finest luxury hotels in the world, including The One & Only Le Touessrok in Mauritius and The Peninsula in Beverley Hills, US, and will bring a wealth of experience to the World's Most Luxurious Hotel, Burj Al Arab. Ms. Paul has been with Jumeirah since 2002, and is returning to Jumeirah Beach Hotel, where she previously served as hotel manager, after working as pre-opening General Manager for Jumeirah Business Bay in Dubai, and hotel manager for Jumeirah Carlton Tower. She has also worked for other Dubai Hotels like Le Meridien Mina Seyahi and had spent fair share of career in Europe too. This new change in management is considered as another strategic step in building a solid platform for Jumeirah's much anticipated extensive growth in Dubai and globally with ambitious plans to expand its portfolio of luxury hotels and resorts to 60 by 2012. Industry experts see this as an important step in aligning Jumeirah's organizational structure to successfully manage the widespread growth and change the company is undergoing.
