Dnata adopts HRG branding

Dnata owned by Dubai Government announced the branding of its corporate travel operations under Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), Abu Dhabi. Dnata Travel Services is the region's leading travel management organisation with all important divisions that serve every aspect of the travel industry and meet the current and prospective travel demands of an array of customer demands. According to a recent hotel survey conducted by HRG, there has been an increase of 23% in Abu Dhabi room rates in the first six moths of 2008 making it listed in the ten top expensive cities for corporate travelers. Reports indicate corporate travel maintains a momentous growth and progress not just in the UAE but across the entire Middle East. Nearly 150 guests, including business leaders, corporate clients and government dignitaries together with senior executives from Dnata Travel and Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) joined at a special event held at the Emirates Ballroom within the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Abu Dhabi. The event was held to formally celebrate the branding of Dnata's corporate travel operations to HRG.
Over the next seven years UAE will show an average a growth of 3.2% per annum, according to a recent forecast by The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). In 2007, Abu Dhabi International airport recorded a traffic increase of 34% resulting in the opening of a new runway earlier this month and a new terminal. These additions will double the airport's capacity during scheduled opening in 2009.
