80 New Premier Inn Hotels for Middle East

UK based budget hotel chain Premier Inn is planning to mark its footprint across the Middle East by building 80 hotels in the region over the next 10 years; The Company has already secured sites in Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain for developing hotels. Premier Inn operates a hotel at Dubai Investments Park offering facilities like
• Meeting room facilities.
• 308 clean and comfortable rooms.
• Swimming pool and whirlpool bath.
• Restaurant, bar and Costa coffee store.
Premier Inn's Dubai Investment Park Hotel is situated just off the Emirates Road with the Green Community as its neighbourhood. It is conveniently located nearby Jebel Ali Port and Freezone, Dubai Media Production Zone and Dubai Sports City.
Hotels in the pipeline are the ones opening at Dubai Silicon Oasis, the International Airport and Al Jadaf. The company also has plans to open in Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and aims to operate more than 6,000 rooms across the GCC by 2012.
The closest competitor for Premier Inn is UK based Travelodge. Rooms in all of the chain's hotels follow a similar style and layout pattern and include a double bed or twin beds, desk area, shelves, colour TV and en-suite bath/shower room. Family Rooms come with an extra sleep-on sofa and/or pull-out beds. More often than not, priced higher than standard rooms, but nor are they usually any bigger compared to the double-bed rooms. Properties which were previously Premier Lodge hotels have slightly smaller rooms but they have wider beds which were a feature of Premier Lodge. Basic room design and layout was revised in 2006, however the rooms offer the same facilities as before.
