Kimi Rنikkِnen, undoubtedly one of the top racing car drivers on the Formula 1 circuit, has presented the grand prize of a luxury trip to Shanghai to the winner of the Hilton Racing summer dining promotion, in a prize giving presentation earlier today (September 26) in Dubai.

Zina Salmani and Rafed Fared Yousif Al Bassam received the highly coveted prize which includes two return Business Class flights to Shanghai, China courtesy of Emirates, a luxury stay at the Hilton Shanghai as well as the once in a lifetime opportunity to watch the spectacular three-day Chinese F1Grand Prix.

“I am so excited to see Shanghai, as this is my first visit to that part of the world,” said Salmani. “My sincere thanks to Hilton, Emirates and everyone else involved for this fantastic opportunity!”

Hilton’s summer long promotion involved second time partner, MasterCard International and first time partners, Emirates and Coca Cola. Open to diners at select Hilton restaurants across the GCC, the promotion saw customers receiving a 20 per cent discount on meals plus beverages when using MasterCard, which simultaneously put them in the running for the final draw. The dining promotion coincided with the launch of Hilton Racing Arabia, a membership club created as a result of Hilton International’s global partnership with Team McLaren Mercedes for the Formula 1 season.

Guy Epsom, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, Hilton International, Arabian Peninsula, was also present for the prize giving presentation, and said: “The result of our second campaign proves that our customers are willing to participate in what we consider a compelling dining promotion. Along with our partners, MasterCard, Emirates and Coca Cola, we have managed to pull out all the stops, and can call this another successful year.”

Coca Cola also contributed to six prizes each of a year’s supply of any one Coca Cola product; Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Light, Sprite, Sprite Light, Fanta, Schweppes or Arwa. The six lucky winners are Timothy Rushforth, Hanin Said, Michael Green, Avan Al Pasha, Ali Khan and Sandrine Salmeron.
